(TIFFIN, OH) The North Central Behavioral Health Board along with Connections Recovery Services is excited to share the following announcement from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health as stated in their MRSS Marketing Toolkit:
“Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) are now available across Ohio. We are pleased to announce the statewide launch of Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS), now available to youth and families across Ohio. This no-cost service is available for children, teens, and young adults age 20 and under experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Anyone can call 988 and ask for MRSS. Usually within about an hour, trained behavioral health professionals will come to the youth wherever they are to calm the crisis, create a safety plan, and connect them with ongoing support. With MRSS now operating statewide, every family in Ohio has access to compassionate crisis care designed to keep youth safe at home, in school, and in their community.
