Sliding Fee Schedule

Financial assistance may be available to help make behavioral health services more affordable for eligible individuals and families.

Affordable Access to Behavioral Health Services

The North Central Behavioral Health Board is committed to helping residents of Seneca, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties access needed mental health and addiction services.

A Sliding Fee Schedule may be used by participating providers to determine the amount a client is responsible for paying based on household income and family size. The schedule is designed to help reduce financial barriers to care for individuals who qualify.

How the Sliding Fee Schedule Works

Eligibility and client responsibility are determined using household income and the number of people in the household. The Sliding Fee Schedule identifies the percentage of service costs that may be the responsibility of the client.

The current Sliding Fee Schedule is effective July 1, 2026. Individuals should contact their service provider for information about eligibility, required documentation, and how the sliding fee may apply to their services.
