Building Stronger Communities Through Prevention
Prevention is a key component of North Central Behavioral Health Board's mission to improve the health and well-being of residents throughout Seneca, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Wyandot counties. By supporting evidence-based prevention programs, community education, early intervention efforts, and strategic partnerships, NCBHB works to prevent substance misuse, suicide, behavioral health challenges, and other behavioral health concerns before they begin. Prevention initiatives focus on building resilience, strengthening protective factors, and creating healthier, safer communities for people of all ages.
